RECJ's 5 Core Ministries
TEACHING
As Christians, we need to continually learn and grow in our faith. Our teaching ministry aims to encourage people from all walks of life to grow in their faith and knowledge of the Scriptures. We develop curriculum, plan classes and deliver guided lessons to cater to the development of the body of Christ in RECJ.
COMMUNICATIONS
Communications ministry provide effective communication designed We aim to connect, inspire and involve RECJ members, guests and community through various channels of communication and social media. We strive to encourage members and non-members, believers and non-believers to become engaged, connected and followers of Jesus Christ.
COMMUNITY
Love God. Love others. Do good. Community ministry is all about doing good right in our surrounding regions. Through community ministry we bring comfort to those who are lonely, who grieve or who simply need to experience the love of God in some tangible way. Through care ministry we are the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need in our local communities.
WORSHIP
Worship ministry seeks to support and strengthen biblically grounded and Reformed worship. Creativity, discernment, spiritual vitality, and the faith formation of worshipers of all ages and abilities are encouraged, spurring them on to a life of holy living. We lead the congregation in worship that focus on God, help people of all ages grow in their understanding of the Gospel, and become better equipped for daily living as faithful disciples.
OUTREACH & PRAYER
Prayer and outreach at RECJ is not something we do; it defines who we are. Through prayer, we grow in our personal relationship with God. Through outreach, we carry out his mission to establish His heart, His will, and His purposes in our families, our church, our city, our nation, and the world. Prayer and outreach is engaging, exciting, and rewarding.
